GetFoodMenus

Accessibility Policy

Last updated: August 2026

GetFoodMenus.com is committed to making restaurant menu information accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA and continuously improve our pages.

Screen reader support

All pages use semantic HTML with proper heading structure, landmarks, and descriptive alt text on images. Menus and nutrition tables are marked up as real tables so screen readers can navigate them.

Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element — links, buttons, filters, and the search bar — is reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus states.

Color contrast

Text maintains strong contrast against backgrounds, including our price and nutrition tables. We never rely on color alone to convey meaning.

Resizable text

The site uses scalable type and fluid layouts, so text can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or function.

Reduced motion

Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting — content remains fully visible when motion is disabled.

Plain-language content

Menu data, prices, and nutrition information are presented in simple, consistent language with clear labels.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any page, please let us know and we will fix it promptly. Reports can be sent through our contact page with the page URL and a description of the issue.
