Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
GetFoodMenus.com ("we", "us", or "our") is an independent restaurant menu information website. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Browsing our menus does not require an account, and we never sell personal data.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Newsletter signups — when you subscribe, we collect your first name and email address to send menu updates and deals. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us through the contact page.
- Corrections & contact forms — when you submit a correction or message, we collect the details you provide (name and email are optional; the restaurant, category, and message are required). This data is used only to respond to and process your submission.
- Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, browser type, general geographic region). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual users.
Cookies & Local Storage
Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions. Our cookie consent banner stores your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask twice. You can accept or dismiss the banner at any time, and you can clear cookies or local storage through your browser settings at any time — the site works fine either way.
How We Store & Protect Data
Form and newsletter submissions are transmitted over HTTPS to our hosting provider (Vercel) and kept in short-lived server logs. We do not operate a customer database, and we do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to anyone. Server logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, which may process limited data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics. Google's data practices
- Vercel — hosting, including server logs and edge network. Vercel's privacy policy
- YouTube — embedded videos on our video and menu pages, which may set cookies when played.
- Pinterest— we link to our Pinterest profile; Pinterest's cookies only apply when you visit their site.
Our pages also link to official restaurant websites, store locators, and deal pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
Children's Privacy
GetFoodMenus.com is a general-interest site not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA and the GDPR/UK GDPR), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, use our contact page and we will respond within 30 days.

- August 5, 2026— Added newsletter (first name + email) and corrections-form data collection, clarified cookie/local storage practices, added third-party services (Vercel, YouTube), children's privacy, and consumer rights (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR).
