Kids Eat Free Restaurants (2026)

Kids eat free promotions give you one free kids meal for every adult entrée purchased. Most chains limit it to 1-2 kids per adult, apply age limits (usually 12 and under), and run it on specific days or time windows. Availability is at participating locations only, so confirm with the restaurant before ordering.

Most restaurant chains define kids meals as ages 12 and under, with some (like IHOP) using 10 and under. Age limits vary by franchise and are usually listed on the kids menu or website. If your child is over the limit, the free meal typically doesn't apply.

It depends on the chain. Some free kids meals include an entrée, side, and drink; others cover the entrée only or the meal without the drink. The fine print is almost always in the promotion details. Ask when you order.

Usually not. Kids eat free promotions generally can't be stacked with other offers, coupons, or rewards redemptions, and most exclude holidays. If you're planning to combine deals, ask the restaurant first.

Monday through Thursday are the most common: IHOP (daily 4-10 PM), Denny's (Tue-Sat 4-10 PM), Buffalo Wild Wings (Monday), Golden Corral (Monday), and many regional chains. Weekends are rare; Sunday almost never.

Sometimes. IHOP and Denny's require no coupon, just ask your server. Buffalo Wild Wings requires the Blazin' Rewards app. Some local promotions need a printed coupon or digital offer. Check the specific chain's terms before going.

Most chains only honor kids eat free for dine-in. Takeout and delivery usually exclude the promotion since it's designed to fill dining rooms. A few locations may allow it for pickup. Call ahead to confirm.

IHOP (daily, free kids meal with adult entree, ages 12 and under) and Denny's (Tue-Sat, free kids meal, ages 10 and under) offer the most consistent nationwide programs. Buffalo Wild Wings Monday is great for wings lovers. Check our kids-menu page for paid kids meal prices as a backup.
